I need a used fuel gauge to fit a 1974 Duster please.

did you check your ground strap on the tank?
if that comes of, it may act like a dead gauge

Yes checked that. I have not taken the gauge out yet and checked with a 9 volt batt.

turn ignition key on ground the purple sending unit wire and the gauge should go to full tank that's an easy way to make sure its the gauge rather than the sending unit
