Hey guys ,

I need to boost up the RPMs on the Duster, our Mallory Hyfire 6 AL is set to kick off at about 4300 Rpms and we need to boost it up to about 6000 Rpm s

I read the manual but call me stupid , can any one tell me in plain english how the h#ll to change this thing?

Thanks, Bob

rotary switch in position 6

All three (1-3) of the up/down switches down.

That should be 6K

In the instructions for 6000 RPM:
At end of box set, rotary switch to 6 (arrow points to 6). The first small switch #1 next to the rotary should be down (as it was). The rotary switch is set by rotating with a very small screwdriver. Turn gently clock-wise.

Since the lowest RPM limit is 4500, at rotary position 0, your limit of 4300 means tach or box is off. Going to position 7 is 6250 RPM, so may be what you want.

Set rpm limiters a few hundred rpm higher than you plan to rev the engine to so it doesn't "start" before you need it to.
