1st : I always had manuals and don't know jack about autos.
Freshly rebuilt trans was given back with, " Oh yea, where the park lock cable enters the trans...it's leaking; that'll be $***, see ya." That is an on-going issue so nuff said.
I called A & A Trans, explained situation and got the kit in the pic.
I understand there are some tricks in disconnecting and reconnecting said cable and am asking for any tranny gurus to chime in with advice which will be GREATLY appreciated. Please keep in mind you may be "talking" to a guy that " English Alphabet For Dummies " is a difficult read.
Wednesday morn' I'm taking the Dart to a shop where it can be put on a lift and I can get my hands dirty and attempt to address other issues as well ( and have a baby sitter watching me ).
