68 Formula S Cuda, 383 4 spd is on the rotiserrie being painted. We moved rear frame rails inboard 2" & added 2" to each wheel house. Narrowed the rear 5" & have tons of room for tire. A N60x15 tire ona 10"rim nestled under it w/ room to spare. Questions are:
1. Would 325/50 x 15 ET Streets on 10" Torque THrusts w/ 3 1/2" backspacing be a good fit? (Car also has Cal Tracs & 11" drums w/ larger bolt pattern)
2. Would 225/60 x 15's work well on the front & what would be the best back spacing for 225's on a 6" or 7" rim? Car has Wilwood discs. Whch rim & tire width would work the best, since I'd like the Cuda to handle well. (keeping the front sway bar, too). Would 215/65's be a better choice?
3. I wanted to go w/ T/A Radials, but the widest for the rear is 295/60's, so would drag radials be a good choice for a wider street tire? What's your preference between ET Streets & T/A Drag radials? Wil have a 451 Stroker & 3.55's.
Thanks much for the input & advice.
