need carb help

i have a 75 dart with a 318. I took the carb off and had it rebuilt. When I went to put it back on there is a vacuum port coming out of it and I don't have any vacuum lines in the vicinity that it would hook to.

It is on the left side of the picture



Does anyone know what this should be hooked to, or could look on there own cars and check for me?

This port goes to the vacuum advance on the distributor.

Yep, ported vacuum.
If you have the vac advance hooked to a different port, then you are probably getting unported manifold vacuum for the advance.

found my vacuum diagram on my inner fender under a bunch of dirt and grime. If what i am assuming is true i got all my issues worked out.

I have the vacuum solenoid valve circled.

Here is a close up.


On the left side it shows it coming out and just a black box. I am assuming that there isnt anything that hooks up at this point, is this true?
