I have a 72 Dart Swinger and the seat bottom of the bench is torn, my problem is when I have contacted Legendary and SMS Interiors I give the interior code and the samples are not even close. I was told that I might have what is called the White Hat Special ??
I would love the redo the seat as the rest is in great shape. If any of the members could tell what I have I would be grateful. I will include some photos to help,
Thank Jim

SMS out of Oregon is a good place to check. They are not cheap though.
They buy up lots of discontinued OEM fabrics.

.That's an attractive seat and I can see why you would want to duplicate it.
Original then, huh?
I just ordered front and rear from Legendary for a car.
My second time doing a front seat cover from them.
The quality is great. And I guess the price is reasonable considering the material and work in involved.
Could you live with something else from Legendary and install them yourself? Might be bucks ahead and lots less aggravation. Cause if you find the material, who will make the covers for you?
My 2 cents.

I did try Sms out of Oregon but just can't find the match. If I was able to find the material there is a upholster in town who does really nice work. Mite have to go with a different material if all else fails, thanks for the advice guys.

I don't know where your damage is but most often it is the driver front cushion.
If you can find a rear seat that matches from a donor car that rear cover may be
large enough to make the front repair. Rear seats are almost always in better shape.
Done this quite a few times over the years. (Upholstery shop owner)
From the pictures you posted It is a great looking interior. Would be ashame to turn it
into the common option legendary kit that you see a lot. Not that their stuff is bad.
I like seeing the unusual especially when in nice shape. Those are the ones that
truly give a glimpse back in time. New is new.

SSBA I am trying to find a donor interior as the bottom of front bench has the rips. Rocky Js i will later get a better pic of those which we can't read. When I got the car 3 years ago I became the 3rd owner and the guy who I bought it from got it from the original owner. I have seen 1 other Dart pic on line which was in US and had a green material the same pattern.
