I've learned quite a bit rebuilding and fixing my Carter carb. It appears as if I need to replace one of the ports/connections where the PCV hose is routed. I looked at the hole closely and it looks like there is a small lip near the back of the hole. Possibly that is what the port bottoms out on after its pressed in? Can anyone please tell me where I can find the right size port to put in there and is it pressed in? Also is there supposed to be a hole in the front right side of the carb that runs to one of the primary venturis? Please take a look at the pics and let me know.

Do you mean the port left of the idle screws in the first pic? That should run a short hose to the choke unloader.

The center hole under and in between the idle screws. My other Carter carb has a larger port in there that my PCV hose is routed to but on this carb there isn't a port In the hole.

It looks like the tube usually pressed into that port has fallen out. Unless it's such an early AFB that it doesn't have a PCV, but that would be way back...
