As some of you know I am in the possession of a 1968 Dodge Dart GTS 383 big block car that was sold in Amarillo, Texas back in 1968. This car was a regular in the Amarillo street scene up until about 1999. There were two GTS Darts, on yellow and one that was blue. I own the yellow car. I know the blue car is still in the Amarillo area.
The car has now been restored. I am currently putting together information for portfolio on the car. The car was sold at a dealer by the name of Hedgecoke Motor Company. That dealership went out of business sometime in the early 70s. I have the original build sheet and other documents associated with the production of this car and some pictures of the car at a drive-in back around 1979. I also have the original spare tire and wheel which I acquired from a Mr. Jimmy Sharber. I picked that up from him in Amarillo back in October. He also shared some information on the car as well as taking me by the old dealership.
What I need help with is finding any documents related to that dealership. I would be great if someone who's a member purchased a car from them. I am also interested in acquiring items such as license plate frame, bumper sticker etc.
