As much as I hate to say it, I need to find a home for my two dogs. I haven't been able to find work and my lease is up July 31st. I will basically be homeless if I don't find work soon and I don't want them to get stuck in that situation with me.

They are Lab/Pitbull mix girls and they look more lab than pit. They are from the same litter and will be 4 years old come Sep. 8th. So far they have never been separated and do great together. I would love to see them go to the same home if at all possible. They would need a home with no other animals. They have always done great when my friends bring their small kids over, but I supervise them carefully. They are energetic (in bursts lol, couch potatoes at heart) and don't always know to be gentle. My buddy brings his 6 yr old daughter with him whenever her visits and they get along great.

I will answer any questions about them as best I can, so please ask if there is something else you need/want to know. I lost a lot of my pics, but have a few to post and will try to get more if I can.

As always, thanks everybody!

Dro, I'm sorry to hear about your situation, but please don't give up your pups.....I have 2 now already, so I can't help with taking them.

You have 2 months until July 31st. The job market here has definitely picked up some. What line of work are you looking for ?

I've seen a bunch of job fairs on the local news lately...

I have only ever done retail or warehousing, but I have been out of work for about 7 years taking care of family. So far, I get no call backs on apps that I put in. I don't want to give up on them, but am scared that they will be out on the street with me when the time comes.

I have applications in everywhere near me, but so far nothing.

The issues with the camaro make me not trust it's reliability, so haven't looked further out. And my anxiety issues keep me from using the bus as an option.

Be proactive. Go back into places you are interested in working and inquiry about your application when call backs or interviews are occurring. Be different than the others that just drop it off.

Good luck.

Sorry to hear about your situation, but keep on it and bug the crap out of em for work.
My brother needs a place for his dog soon to, as he is going to Stevens Trucking for training before long and we can't take him.

I wish good luck for you.
