Need help identifying 833

I’m trying to determine if this transmission came out of an
A,B, or E body? I’ve been told
all three???? Please help identify.

That's an A body tailshaft housing. They had 2 different out put shafts, early is a smaller 26 spline, later stepped up to the larger more common 30 spline. Disclaimer... been a long time since I touched an "A" 833, if I'm wrong somebody out there please correct me.

I think you're right, fshd4it, cast iron A-Body ext. Housing. 1972 build date. 3903= April 4, 1972. Most likely 30 Spline. If rebuilt, who knows?
