My 72 Duster 340/4sp has some slop at this joint. After I got the clutch pedal to stop about the height of the brake pedal (the dash metal reinforcement had been tweeked over the years). There is no bushing on that rivot and there was no nut or fastener of any type holding it on. What do I need to use here and where can I find or fab something to work. George in Tallahassee

Do you think I could find something similar locally????

Is there no bushing on that rivot/pivot?

Thanks, George

Nope, no bushing. Just has a little slop.

Maybe you can find one at the "HELP" rotisserie at the local parts store, NAPA, Advance, etc,,,,,.

The little slop in each rod end gives you the free play when you step on the pedal. No bushing just a wear washer and a clip. Postpone your progress and order the correct parts. toolmanmike
