Need help removing parts to get to heat a/c switch

I want to remove the 5 button a/c switch, removed the glove box, can't figure out how to remove the ashtray bracket or radio to reveal the switch---any help would be appreciated---never seen any thing like this--Mopar is new to me--1971 Plymouth Valiant factory a/c----thanks

First mash the button where they crushed out their cigarette to remove lid, then you can see the screws that hold the lighter and ash tray housing, remove it , then on the radio has a brace on the right side , that support rear of radio down on dash at bottom , also two screws or bolts holding bezel around radio , that have to be removed from behind dash, then remove nuts around radio knobs and remove it, same on heater/ac bezel, there are 2 screws holding bezel on each side that you have to remove from behind the dash.

I for one can't emphise enough the need to remove these screws!
