I have a 727 torqueflite that I know either came out of an A or LA engine car...the only information that I have is the serial number on the driver's side transmission rail. It reads as follows: PK 3898867 5432 5375 . I would greatly appreciate any help with this. Thanks....Steve....by the way, I am putting it up for sale if anybody is interested......

Same issue here My numbers are PK3881053. Can't seem to find that number listed anywhere. It was in a 72 Demon 340 that was originally a 4 speed car so I know it wasn't the original. Before I tear it down I'd like to know what year it is.

THANKS for any help/guidance you can share....

Sure it's not 3681053? Look at the date code to narrow when it was built

3681053 is a 72-73 318-360 HD unit
