Need help with clipped corners for garage door opening

Hey everyone. If anyone has clipped corners on your garage door opening, would you take a measurement for me? I just need to know how far down they go.

You can put them wherever you like.

There's no steadfast rule. That looks like roughly a 16" clipped corner on a 7' double. On a single door a 16 will probably look too large. Somewhere around 10" usually looks good. If you've got windows (especially square/rectangular) don't crowd them.

On second look... that maybe an 8' door. The window height looks odd.

When I was building we came down 12", the piece would cut 17" with a 45* angle on both ends.
