need help with front rims

hi all, i tried to stick some cragar s/s rims on the front of the duster but they would not fit because the center cap on the rims hit the grease cap. will i need to buy new longer center caps or can i somehow get rid of it?

So after the center cap hits the grease cap how much clearance between the inner bolt face of the cragar and the mounting face of the rotor?

umm, i guess i'll have to measure it later, ive got the duster on the jack and am changing the rear leaf springs. it wasnt much, half an inch maybe

Have you tried fitting the wheel on with the center cap removed?

I used to have cragars on my 71 Duster and they fit fine, are the center caps the stock ones, or have they been replaced?
