I have a 73 duster 318/727 with 8.25 rear end. Looking for some ideas on how to lower the rear end for better handling on the dirt. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Track rules state must be stock but..... if it looks stock or clean they don't care.

Dearch the springs for over an inch. Small changes can be made at the front spring hanger by flipping it upside down. Never done that but its been said that will lower car an inch.

That worked, awsome!!! You guys are great flipped the front shackles and it lowered it one inch. Thanks fellas!!!

replace the rear shackle with a slider. should get you another inch or two. the back will also be more stable in the corners.

it's called a front spring hanger not a front shackle.
