need new gas tank

I need a new gas tank for my 67 barracuda fastback. As for now i will be running the original 273 commando. I have a 360 and a 340 that i may be using later. My question is should i get the 5/16 fuel sending unit or go with the 3/8. I found a good price on both but i am always open to suggestions. Thanks stan

I say always upgrade to the 3/8" if ya can...BUT...A 3/8" sending unit will do nothing for you if you don't ALSO upgrade the rest of the fuel line to 3/8"...
