car is a 1972 duster racecar/streetcar i want to rewire the whole car. what would you suggest? painless wiring/ ez wiring? any links would be helpful. i need the basics only front lights rear lights turn signals brake lights to work.my steering column burnt up wire so i may need to do the lazy way and have the turn signals go to a switch by themselves. as far as the cluster i see a carbon fiber dash piece people put gauges in. best place to purchase this or other ideas. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/c...QqLUI9lZ93qBnj3yyf_8kDXIiBWn1QTYUMaAhw78P8HAQ

As for the wiring I bought a Ron Francis wiring kit. It is the only way to go in my opinion, very straight foward. All wire are labled and fuse box is color coded to match the wires. It's almost idiot proof. But when the idiot in me starts popping up the tech support is great.

For the instrument cluster I fabricated my own.

Oh no dont buy that cluster that bezel is thin junk. Looks like a carbon fiber sticker. I went with fast line west but only get the black one the other two are the thin junk. I went painless but was a nightmare for me and I went with a universal 6 gauge wiring for the cluster from fast line west. Comes with quick connects so you can pull cluster if you have a issue without unhooking all gauges also makes it easier to wire when you can sit cluster on table and wire it up without trying to hold it in place.
