Stock Piler of 340's
This is a rather bizarre request, but I need some close up/detailed pictures of the ratchet mechanism and springs in a Slapstick Shifter.
I plan on installing a slapstick style mechanism on the Mr Gasket floor shifter in my Turbo Diesel Dodge Dakota.
The ol Dakota is suffering from a valve body issue, where it won’t downshift (can be manually downshifted) and it upshifts through all 5 gears before it hits 15mph. When manually shifted, it performs perfectly. I’ve dropped the valve body out if it twice in hopes of finding the problem, no luck. Adjusted the kickdown cable too, no luck.
So it’s getting a ratchet mechanism on the shifter.
