Need Recommendation Dallas/Ft. Worth

I have a set of 3:23 gears that I want to have isnstalled in my 1972 Duster and I live in Grapevine, Texas, can anyone provide a recommendation? I have visited two shops, one guy wanted $600.00, and the other shop that I visited was a dump. Thanks in advance for any recommendations that you can provide.
 
Thanks for the recommendation, Ken Key also suggested Mike. It wasn't Mike's shop that I visited (I don't want you to think that I was referring to his shop), it was a local shop in Grapevine.

LOL....didn't think it was. But he has a lot of stuff packed in to a small area...making it hard to organize. Ken's a good guy..knows his stuff. You in the club?
 
Hey Hemi Orange, where abouts in Grapevine are ya?? I live off Bethel Rd. in Coppell i've got a 71 duster. I just got done swapping my own 3:23's for 3:55's because I couldn't get any shop around here to do it! The only shop that would even consider it was a "Speed Shop" that was pretty sketchy and they wanted $700! I laughed in the guys face and told him I'd do it myself... anyway, maybe we'll have to meet up sometime I'd love to see your duster. Thanks!
 
I live on Brookgate Drive in Winding Creek subdivision off of Park BLVD and Northwest highway. A local shop in Grapevine wants $600.00 to do it. I am going to call Miller Performance tomorrow and get an estimate. Let's plan on getting together.

I was a member in the club, then I stopped getting my renewal information so I didn't join again. I met Ken and Lisa at the Good Guys Show at TMS in 2002 when I had my 1966 Hertz Shelby there. I bought the Duster in 2005 and I have been working on it since. Ken and I were two of the last people to have our headliners done by Benny and James.
 
Didn't get your renewal info?

Were you still getting newsletters? I ask because I am the newsletter editor (last 3 years). I try to make sure everyone gets all the club info.
