need some help adjusting kickdown cable

im new to messing with mopars. i got a 1972 dodge dart custom with a 318 and 904 transmission. how in the world do u adjust the kick down cable?! the person before me put a 4 barrel cater series carb on it with a high rise edelbrock intake
 
when i changed mine to 4bbl i got an adapter from summit and had to extend trans rod and change the throttle bracket to make it all fit properly. if you have a cable im sure someone else will chime in. also if you havent already try using the search option on here. i recall alot of info some with pics. good luck
 
do u have any pics on what one should look like? i dont know itf the right parts are there are not
 
how rare are these 4 door door things i waisted tons of time on this thing
