1967 Dart with elec washer pump.

I have searched old threads and cannot seem to find my answer and need some help.

Existing jar was broken, and my wife bought be a new washer jar for Christmas (atta girl!)

With the existing jar broken, it was easy to get inside and undo the nut/filter combo and get the motor freed from the broken jar.

But I am having trouble figuring out the best way to properly install the existing motor to the new jar. Is there a special tool or trick to get down inside the jar to turn the nut/filter with enough power to obtain a proper seal?

Thank you for any help.

Socket with a swivel and an extension?

Cant remember if the socket will go over top of the pump inside the jar??
You may have to sacrifice a wrench and heat up n bend it to fit inside. Use an extra spare wrench, Ive had to sacrifice wrenches like this before.

I've used a deepwell socket of suitable size and small extension. Worked well for me.

I used the deepwell socket also. A little tricky as I had to work on it upside down. But it did work
