This is (I believe) a 45RLE. It came out of a 2000 Dakota RT, along with it's 5.9 liter Magnum. It was a 4 wheel drive, I had the local trans shop obtain, rebuild, and install a 2 wheel drive overdrive unit. They did me a "favor" and got me an older one out of a van, so it would have a speedometer drive. I didn't get the opportunity to see how it was mounted originally, nor do I know exactly what it came out of. Can anybody tell me what holes I should be using to mount it? Does it matter? I believe both the pair of holes by the sensor and the single one further back are tapped. Anybody know a part number for a relatively small rubber mount? The ones that came on the vans, as near as I can tell from Rock Auto, are big, ugly, and expensive. This is all going in my 36 Plymouth sedan.

The 45 came behind the 3.7 4.7 platform. Your magnum engine would have had a 42 or 46RE. 42 had the 904 style pan, the 46 a 727 style pan

The 3 holes in triangulation are the mounting holes so I suggest that you try finding a mount for a ‘90-‘93 2 wheel drive pickup to mount it.

Pictures of trans mount bracket and isolation mount this is how mine looks it came from a 3/4 ton flat bed ‘92 Dodge with a throttle bodied 360 LA motor.
