how do you take off and reinsall the trim on a 65 dart gt
so i can get a clean paint job then reinstall it ? thanks anyone

Welcome to FABO! There are quite a few of 65 Dart owners here (I have 2 - a GT convert and a wagon). Which trim are you referring to: candy canes, fender, over-the-roof, etc?

thank for the reply. The candy canes and hood it look like theirs some kind of plastic pices holding them on that i can see on one part that is coming off
alittle and where can one get new pieces

The clips that hold the candy canes have nuts on the back side you have to reach up into the fender above the headlight bucket to get to them and inside the lower grill surround. The fender strips are held on with a combination of nuts on the backside and pushin clips. The front fenders spears have nuts underneath and the strip on the fender has a nut on the last one or two clips near the door. The doors have nuts on the front and rear and push in clip between..the rear window piece, I don't recall???, I have a convertible and it would be different.... the rear fender stainless pieces have nuts on the underside. Hope this helps...
