New addition to the shop

I picked up this mill from a friend and had to do a little work and give him a little $$.
I put a Variable Frequency Drive on it and a power drive for the table both from China??
Hope they hold up, the VFD is really cool, variable speed, forward and reverse at a push of a button, you can set the stop speed from instant to coast to stop. Oh yea the best part you can run a 3 phase motor off single phase.

My old mill i've been using for years, this will be quite a difference.

When I was a 16 yo, my bridgeport mill was my closest friend. Doing machine work paid my way through college and Dental school. I still miss the work I could do with it. Congrats on your addition.
