New Bilstein Shocks

KYBs are a premium stock replacement.

Bilsteins are a true, high performance, replacement.

If you are upgrading the rest of your suspension (big torsion bars, high performance rear springs, +size wheel and tire package) the Bilsteins should be well worth it.

If you are simply rebuilding/replacing the stock stuff with stock stuff and running 14" or 15" wheels with something like a craptastic BFG Radial TA, go with the less expensive KYBs.
 
I am upgrading my suspension with hotchkis leafs and front and rear will have a Addco sway bar and 1" torsion bars. I will be running 14" ralleys until I can afford wheels.
