I just installed a brand new holley 1945 (from Dan), and it looks like it has a few less vacuum ports, guessing because ours came from a california dart (extra emmisions).

Anywho, took the car for a test spin (knowing it was out of tune) and it ran on for a couple of seconds, so guessing running lean.

Looked at the turning info on slantsix forum and it suggest a tachometer that has expanded scale of 0-1000 or 400-800rpm. I have never seen one, where would I go about obtaining one?

Really would like to have the car running right for Mopars in the Park :)

Autozone carries sun pro mini tachs for $30. I'm sure other autopart stores carry them also.

But those have much larger graduated rpm. I have never seen a tach that only goes to 1,000rpm :(

edit:
nevermind, buying a no contact digital tach, should do the job :)
