New Carpet prep

I am getting ready to install new carpet in the Duster. I will use a insulation layer similar to dynamat. Does anyone know if there is an underlayment kit available or needed or will the dynamat serve this purpose as well? My carpet has the jute backing but I am curious about the underlayment part. thxs!

I didn't add anything extra to my Challenger. The jute is all the factory used. You're way ahead of the game if you're installing a Dynamat type material. I would suggest taking the carpet out of the box an putting it in the sun. The carpet seems to lose its shape if it's stored in a box too long. As soon as my Challenger carpet arrived, I took it out of the box so it wouldn't lose its molded shape.
