Just picked up a 70 Duster with 72 340 in it. MAJOR project but been wanting one of these for a while. Its been a while since I've attempted anything like this, so I will be on here ALOT looking for advice and ideas. 1st decision is whether to build the 340, or do what my heart tells me and squeeze a 440 in it?? It's a factory 318 car. Should be fun!!

Welcome to FABO! Do what makes you happy as it's your ride and you will be driving it.... Either a modern Hemi swap or the big block will put a smile on your face every time you drive it.....

Glad you joined! I'm working on putting a 440/4-speed in a 69 swinger original 340 car. Small block A's are fun but Big Blocks are insane either way hope you have a Ball!!!!!!:)

Welcome! You can build a pretty fast small block. Easier to work on due to more room. Better handling due to less weight. Plus you already have a 340, which is an excellent engine. Nothing wrong with a big block either.
