new engine and stand

Weell,i started the motor yesterday..took all day to get a replacement stand built [sold the other one]hooked up and motor started..but here it is..found out a few things..it didn't like to start at the old timing and likes up too 20 degrees initial timing seemed to like 16 and don't know for sure yet where it will run..ran it for a couple hours for breakin and fooling with it before teardown to get it ready to put it back in the car..it barked at first then the third try it lit ,dr side v/c leaks but seemed like everything else was ok,,j

The exhaust manifolds look nice. Were these pictures taken before or after the two hours run time? What finish did you put on them?

I painted them with vht I think is the name...yes they were run for two hours give or take a little..they looked great when I took it down..
