Hello all
I have known about this site for awhile but just now joined up. I recently sold my '65 Chevy C-10 to focus my attention on my dad's 64 Valiant signet 200 convertible back in shape. He had it for around 25 years. It's a Slant 6 225 with 2 single barrel Hollys on an Offienhouser intake.
The car is in really good shape. He had it restored in 90's and took great care of it. I am in the process of getting the carbs back in and set up right. When my day passed away he had just rebuilt the carbs but had not got them reinstalled. I have those back on but lack a couple of minor details to finish to chore.
I plan on repainting it, being in the collision industry it has a paint job that is unacceptable from when it was restored.
I would also like to change the color of the top. I would also like to put disk brakes and 15" wheels on her. Maybe upgrade the cooling system and a couple of changes to the interior.
