Got the new 50,000btu furnace all installed, everything hooked up and running but I can't get the gas to it. Supply comes from the house basement 65' underground then into the garage, up 10' to attic. It's been a cold winter and is now 40 degrees. Could it possibly take two days to purge the line? Thanks for your replies.

If you don't get any flow, then something's blocked. Even if it was purging the air would be coming out at whatever pressure the gas was pushing it with. Are you sure no water or dirt got into the piping when you were burying it?

I had to blowout water last year before I did the final hookup...what a mess, when I opened the shutoff valve in the garage it blew black pukey water all over the wall and floor. I'll check it later but it's a pain to blow it out every year. Thanx
