So I got a guage cluster this week, and started cleaning it up. Tried goo gone on the faces and whooooops! Smudged the paint. So I looked online. Anyone ever heard of these guys?

???????

Well. For thirty bucks I ordered a set of white faces. Let’s see how well they are made and how easy they install. Cleaned up and got my new gauges ready to go in but waiting till these faces get here.

Polished up the glass and boom! Almost new!

Your clear plastic looks fabulous. What product did you use & how'd you apply it ?

An old 1970s buffer and McGuire’s wax and polish. No lie. That old cloth buffer works like new. Set the buffer upside down in a clamp. And put the wax/polish on the Plexiglass and went to town on it. Then glues everything back in place.

Drill out the center piece from the back. Pop it out and have at it

Its amazing what you can bring plexiglass back from. When i worked at autozone i got 4 9"x18"x1/4" sheets of blast proof plexi from our battery charging boxes. Scratched, dirty, painted, about 30 min a piece on them and they look brand new. Dont know what im gonna do with them but i got em.

Kit I got is nothing but stickers. Figured as much since the guages are riveted on. Here’s the kit out of the bag

Even has complete instructions for the car. And I don’t mean generic either. I mean the actual guages in the car. That’s pretty neat

Put red leds inside the pod. I also have repainted the inside a fresh coat of gloss white
