Hello from Oregon. Been visiting the website for awhile, figured I better register.

Got into cars via osmosis from my father who grew up in the '50's and raced a B/gas Willys in the early '60's. Grew up in the '70's when muscle cars were cheap and plentiful. Saw American Graffiti in the theater when I was 11. Bought my first vehicle (1949 Studebaker pickup) when I was 12 with lawn mowing money. Moved to a 1970 440 6pak Road Runner in 1979 when I was 16 and the rest is history. Being raised by a true old school hotrodder, I learned to fix it instead of just buying a new one. Still hear my dad saying "are you a mechanic or a parts changer?"

Welcome from the East coast!! What, if any cars are you into now! Wish i had a 6pak runner when i was 16 in '79! (HA, we're the same age). My first car was a '66 383 auto Charger in '78, couldn't drive it for another year at 16!
Was in Portland 3-4 years ago for training......very nice out there!

Thanks, yea I loved that car until the cops made me sell it. Now I've got a '71 Road Runner with a 470 stroker, lowered 2003 Ram 1500 with a hemi, a '37 chopped and channeled International with a Studebaker 259. '50 Merc 2 door that is getting a 383 and am building a chopped '40 Willys pickup with a blown 392. My 2 sons drive a '72 Dart Swinger and '99 Dodge Ram Sport 4wd and my wife has a '64 Rambler 2 door Classic 770 with a late model 258 six and a lifted Dodge Nitro. So I guess the answer would be a little of everything, leaning towards Mopars.
