Hello everyone. I am new to A Bodies Only and I thought I would let everyone know who I am and everything. I have a 71 Dodge Demon with a 318 and an automatic 904. There is a 7 1/4 rear end in it right now. It is pretty much stock as is. I am going to build the 318 pretty strong and get a 8 3/4 for it when i can find one. I am down around the San Diego area and am in the Marine Corps right now. I plan to move the shifter down to the floor also with a console. Other then that I am trying to find someone to do some body work for it some where in the southern California area so if there is someone out there that can help out with that I would appreciate it. Other then that I am going to leave the car about how it is. It has the dual hood scoops on it right now and other then that I also looking for a 69 Valiant project car so again if there is anyone out there I would appreciate it. I will post some pictures of the car tomorrow.

Can't help you on the body work.

My friends son is in combat training at Pendleton right now and he has a 71 Demon!

There are some good yards in the San Diego area for parts. Mostly in Chula Vista.
 
Thank you for your encouragement and I will post some pictures tomorrow like I said. It is dark today and I want to get some decent pictures. I will take them tomorrow and post them as soon as I can. I am glad that I found this website. Everyone seems to be extremely nice and encouraging. Any ideas I would appreciate. I am planning on building a borderline street motor with 3.55 or 3.91's depending. Also I am still looking for a 69 valiant in the southern cali area. I would appreciate help on that also. If someone has a friend or know someone or what not. I prefer a manual tranny but would go for anything at a decent price and a 2 door right now.

Yeah that would definately be a good idea. Not sure how I missed it but I just saw your post today. Gimme a call sometime and we will have to arrange something.
