New to the forum, picked up a 74 scamp awhile back. Going to rip the /6 out and drop in a dirty ol 440 and have some fun. Working on the 8.75 for it now, with the help of some old forum threads. The info here has been invaluable. Thanks for having me.

It started life as an early 70s olds delta 88, now it's about 4 or 5 cars smashed together and wrapped in steel. Powered by a 383 sbc Chevy. No mopars were harmed making it lol.

Not to be overly critical, but ANOTHER A body Slant 6 to V-8 swap?

Yawn. Boring. There are so many out there already. I suppose you're going to add extra chrome and 17 inch or larger wheels too.

If you want to do something interesting that will get attention, tune up the Slant 6! Maybe even put a turbocharger on it, they really pick up and go with mods like that!

Valid point. I'll add some context. My first car out of high school was a 75 swinger /6 with a scamp front clip. I always wanted to big block swap it but ended up having to sell it due to being on the west coast all alone with no money and no way home. So I'm just trying to fulfill a teenage dream of mine. Heal old wounds and what not. But you are correct about the boosted slants, I've seen a supercharged one and one with a turbo and they are wicked cool.
