Am just starting to restore 65 Barracuda that my mom bought when I was in the 8th grade. Found most of the stuff to convert to the 4 speed I wished it had when I was in high school. Has 273 hipro with auto. Am going to look for a 340 to rebuild, and I need an 8 3/4 rear end. I haven't done much of this since high school so it should be interesting.

Welcome aboard. Sounds like you have a nice project there. As Jim mentioned, there are quite a few Barracuda owners here with a wealth of knowledge about those cars. You might have more success looking for a 360 instead of a 340, since the 360's are cheaper and a lot easier to find, so you start with an additional 20 cubes for less money. :)
 
When you want to sell the 273 HiPo, PM me! :D Also, got any pics of the car?
