New heads on the way for my Dart, few changes

-
Well, don’t have to be secretive what Vic’s new heads made on BES’s dyno.
657 horsepower and 593 torque .
11.6 compression, 263@50 roller.
Wander what it would make with more squeeze and camshaft.
Video of dyno pull and video of the 6.08 pass on Rod Bloomers Facebook page.
Unsure how to copy it over here, or I would

Cubes?

So that's 1.56 HP per cube. Nice

Fuel used?

yes, it is pump gas. I missed it on his post on Facebook first time I read it.
If you look at the Wallace calculator, which has always been pretty accurate for me, that 112+ mph at 2930 pounds lines up very well with the dyno results.
Especially when you figure the only headers the guy in the AMX had laying around that would fit are 1 5/8.
Anybody else bet it would run better with a bigger tube on it, I do.
Guess he plans to get some made.
Rods dyno session was with a 950 4150 carb and a super victor that wasn’t ported.

Of course when you get them.

From what I've been told and understand you can make 2 HP per cube on pump gas but exhaust becomes critical and the head has to have good scavenging. Leave those heavy ends in there on the next cycle and its bang time.

Don, I'm as excited about your heads as you are about me finally getting my car running. LOL. This should be a really fun year! Brad
