Good day from Texas, New here and starting a new project. Picked up a fairly clean and mostly rust free 1972 Plymouth Duster. Was originally a 318/ 904 car in petty blue from what I can tell. Have had alot of B E body Mopars over the years and a hand full of A bodies . This will be my first 1970-1972 A body, Basic plan is a 499 CID wedge with a full manual reverse valve bodied 727 and a Dana 60 out back. This will be mostly a street car with a trip now and then to the track , looking around 650 HP and hoping for mid 10 second passes. Will keep people posted and progress moves along.

Welcome from Central Texas! Post pictures as you progress on your Duster, love to see it. I have a 74 Duster that is going to be a road trip 72 clone. I'm about 2/3rds through my project and have a small supply of leftover parts if you need odds and ends.

Hello Mineral Wells ..... Welcome to the forum Texas Red... Corpus Christi Tx area.... Glad to have ya aboard

Sorry for the delay the camera was holding the pictures hostage. This is from the day I found her at CTC auto ranch, days before they shut down. Such a loss. not much there but has great bones, was not wanting a complete car , since I was going to replace most of it. The tail light panel will be replaced with a 70-71 panel since that is what I prefer. But for $1500 I call it a big win.
