Figured I would share some pics from my headlight upgrade today. Bought everything off eBay for a little less than $100. 1000x better light output, lower draw on the electric system and are rated for over 10,000 hours of use. Sounds like a win win to me. Now I will admit I messed up and didn't get LEDs that had a high beam but for me the only time I ever use high beams is to flash and idjets that cut me off on the road. I'm extremely happy with my lights so much so that I'm done suggesting and installing HIDs. These things had very small ballasts boxes (smaller than a book of matches) so no need to mount them of the rad support or having to find spots for them.

How's the beam spread? Halogen like? What headlights are you putting the bulbs in, not sealed beam..
I have a single cree LED gun type flashlight that has the power to reflect a streetsign at about a mile, incredible

Spread looks like a halogen from the stand point that it has a great cut off point and won't blind other drivers. I bought a set of buckets off eBay for like 33 shipped. The ones I bought were the cheep plastic kind. They sell glass ones but once you find the glass one you tend to have to pay more to not get the little blue "parking" lamp in the bucket.
