Hi All,
Long Time lurker. Just back into my ownership after 35 years is a 1967 plymouth barracuda convertible. The story on this car, back in the late 1980's early 90's, A Friend and i went to Maryland to find work hanging drywall. One day after work we were driving some backroads drinking and came across this barracuda sitting in a driveway for sale. They wanted $500, i talked them down to $350 :) , i swear. That weekend we picked up the car, slapped some expired maryland tags on it, and drove it overnight from Baltimore Md. to Fayetteville Wv to avoid cops from spotting the bad tags .
A couple years after I bought it i was moving to Arizona to find work and sold it my friend for $500. He's had it since then, i guess its been about 35 years or so. He contacted me a few weeks ago wanting to sell it back to me, as he wasn't giving it the attention that it was needing. It has been sitting neglected in a storage shed for the past several years. I asked him what he wanted for it and said that he would sell it me for what I sold it to him for - $500. SOLD !!! It needs the usual things right now, new gas tank, tires, brakes, Im having some electrical issues but I've traced it all back to a worn out bulkhead that's shorting out on a couple connections.
I'll be asking other members for advice and tips as I get the car back to roadworthy.
Thanks for the Add,
Stormin_Norman

Congrats, I do like Yellow on the drop tops! I found mine cruising the back roads of MD, but in the early 70's. Took the original owner till 1999 to let it go. Gave him $2000 for it and drove it home. Mine kinda looks like yours right now.
