just wanted to say hi
ill tell you a little about me and the cars i have
it all started with a 68 charger i did in college 440 auto with a/c 8 3/4 355 sg.
i painted it plum crazy purple with black interior
drove it and showed it and used it in my wedding in 1995
sold it in 2000
the bought a 68 gts dart 383 4 speed #s matching
restored the car and finished it in late 2001
the wife decided that i worked to much and wasnt home to help raise our 4yo daughter and 3months preg with our son
so she left in jan 01 divorce was done in late 2002.
so yes i still have the 68 gts after all i went thur.:blob: well i should say car belongs to my dad...
so in 2011 a friend called me about a guy that had a 70 duster he was going to redo but it was to much work for him so i bought the duster it was disassembled and bare metal.

well my daughter at that time 13yo saw the car and liked it so we decied to restore it together i let her pick what she wanted to do with the car
that was fun to build a car together

all big bolt pattern swap
white 70 correct interior
71 black 340 stripes
the car was almost finished on her 16th birthday, waiting for alingment and exhaust
5 days before the mopar happening car show in belvidere we took it to the insurance company to get that part ready.
car ran great, THEN ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE..
ops: we were getting ready to leave so i started the car and BANG the crankshaft decieded to break behind #2 rod. so out comes the 340 with no extra crank in sight. we took the 318 cleaned it up and rattle canned it and stuck that in 1 day before the show, so she could atleast drive it, i believe she got 2nd place at the show. wow it is a beautful car but she didnt expect that.
so long story short we found a steel crank and put that in over the 2013 winter then took the car to farmington carshow where she got 1st place..
its so rewarding to see her enjoying the car and shows with her old man:cheers:
2012 my son 11yo went to a auction with me and found a 78 warlock that he begged me to buy so we could resort it together
so now i have a warlock to build with him.
its a soild truck but is missing the engine and trans 318 727
but he said thats ok.... i want a 383 4 bbl 727
well this should be a fun build with him...
i also have a 69 dart custom with 340 727 8 3/4 3:55posi that me and my dad did back in 1993
my dad has a 67 plymouth satellite #s matching 383 4bbl 4 speed red with white interior
