Oops! Hello, I should have read the message about introducing myself first. I've already added a post with a question about my 318 that is in a 1968 Dodge PU but may have started life in an A body.
I grew up in a Mopar family. Grandfather and father owned Dodge trucks, Darts, I've owned Dusters, Dakota's and 20+ years ago, I found a D200 very similar but kinda different to what I learned to drive. My grandfather had a 1968 light Blue Dodge D200 Camper special that he drug me around in all summer long, circa 1966-1976, fishing the many lakes in Washington state. If I remember correctly, he liked his Heidelberg beer and therefore I learned to drive that truck when I was fairly young if ya know what I mean. His 68 D200 Camper Special had an automatic with the shifter on the dash. Fast forward 20 years ago or so, I looked at a 1968 Dodge D200 Service pickup with an automatic with the shifter on the dash and for whatever reason, nothing else mattered, I had to have it. I bought it for 600, put a couple grand into it and I've used it for hauling many projects, tools and firewood.
Today the truck is about ready for the scrap heap because of rust throughout the body. In the back of my mind, I've always thought maybe the running gear would fit perfectly into a 67 or 68 Cuda or a Duster or Dart and now that I'm retired, I have time to look at it.
In 1978, I had a 1970 Plymouth Duster that my father and I altered from a straight six to a 383 4 speed. Fun, fun car while it lasted!
Anywhoo, that's me. Hopefully I can get this engine running so I can wrap up many projects around the house that we're started over the years and eventually, find another vehicle to drop the running gear into.
Thanks

Thank you for the back story and welcome to the site!!! Big question is where would you like to land? You can do a bunch with the running gear but what are you going to put it into?

Will depend on what I find. As I've aged and with my families medical history, I've become a realist and I don't set specifics for myself because I don't know whether I'll be around that long. I have a buddy that has a 55 International PU with all the running gear out of a Dodge Ram Charger. You never know what I may find to put this running gear into. A 1966 to 69 Plymouth Cuda could be fun.

Welcome from across the Sound on Vashon Island. I belong to the Mopar club that is based in the Bremerton/ Gig Harbor area - All Around Mopars. We have members in Sequim, Olympia, Vashon, too. So if you are interested I can send you info about meetings and activities, etc. We hear about Mopars for sale around Washington State and many get posted on our club facebook page. If you are looking for something let me know and I'll have people looking out for possibilities.
