New Motor Swap

Ive never done a new motor swap and want to give it a shot. I have a 72 dart that i want to sink one into. I'm only 22 and ive tampered with small blocks my entire (but short) life and i here nothing but good things about a new motor swap. Any good suggestions for a cruising motor with some giddie-yup and good places to start my search. Nothing better than a good A-body suggestion. Thanks fellas.
