'New Posts' shows only ten pages every day

Are there additional posts we can't see? On the old site, if I logged in, say, after three days there were lots of pages to catch up on. Now, it's always ten.

ok, I was able to double it to 400 and 20 pages. + you get 30 posts per page.

I have to be a little careful with this as it can cause performance issues if I set it too high.
