New Project! '73 dart sport 440

I realized my other '74 dart was a bit gone to be a restorer so I picked this roller up in south Georgia for $3,000. Interior has also already been re-done, dana 60 out back. I just took my 440 block to the machine shop to have it checked out this week. I got it from member Avispa on this site as well as some 906 heads. Got a set of tti's off ebay for $700 brand new and an msd 6al box for $60. I am trying to save money where I can but not sacrificing on the parts I know will work and that I need. I am stripping the entire car down to bare metal and then shooting it with Eurethane(sp) primer and eventually going to shoot it in a gunmetal silver or at least thats the plan. Currently I have the front end off checking things out, inside of the fender have slight rust around the mountin bolts. Everything else is minimal surface rust. Will post more pics soon! thanks! It was an ex drag car so someone had sprayed the paint over a few rust spots in the lower quarters and trunk but that's typical on these cars anyway. Like your car as well!

Sounds nice. Car looks good to. Glad you to see you got some good headers and not the ugly elephant ear ones where you have to cut up the engine bay. Got any more pics?

Haven't taken anymore yet but I will soon, I'm working on the car in stages I have some parts at my house but it's in my buddy's home shop about 20 min. from me.
