Has anyone tried out these new sunpro st gauges? They look pretty sharp for the price.

I'm thinking about running an oil pressure and water temp custom setup in my dash. I was leaning towards electric for ease of installation but I am currently running mechanical and have had zero issues. Is one better than the other? If I go electric what do I use for the oil other than the wire? Does a sending unit go in?

All info is appreciated. Thanks

They look good should be fine, I think that brand name has been around for awhile, I have an old chrome Sunpro oil psi gauge that looks like a Sun knock-off.

Havent looked at those yet, but yes all electric gauges will have a sender.
Depending on the type some have a couple of wire for the sender. They
won't be unlike your factory gauges that also have an electric sender.

You will find varying opinions on mech vs electric but now days they really
are not much different, and most electrical have a little better accuracy.

Keith, sunpro is a lower end sun gauge. Like Auto Meter and Auto Gauge.
Same company, just different line.
