Hi all…. I am new to this forum. I have a new project. 1971 Dart Swinger, 318, ps, factory ac, green go paint, white vinyl interior, 3 spd auto 904. I have not checked rear end yet. This car is 100% unmolested so I am excited and going to keep her pretty close to stock during the 80% restoration. I am an old moose guy but only played with 383 B block. This is my 1st sbm. Looking to get a mild 300- 350 hp out of her. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Plans are to leave bottom end alone along with the factory pistons. Factory 2 barrel intake with a Holley 2 bbl 500 cfm street avenger carb, headers dual exhaust. Big question would be how much cam can I run with stock springs and push rods. I don’t want to interfere with vacuum too much as the plan is to keep the ac.
