New to this and need help

When someone has a RoadRunner with matching numbers, please tell me exactly where to locate these numbers. All I know is VIN should match number tag on driver side fender well. Where will engine number be? Where will transmission number be? Are they each related to the VIN? Am going to look at a couple and would like to check it out. Have also heard there is a number under trunk rubber. If so, what location? Thank you in advance.

What year RR? 1968s were very different from later versions.

If your looking at a 70 road runner, and you actually have the $$,$$$. $$ to buy one?
