To the best of my knowledge, it was bought new in North Vancouver B.C.(about an hour from me), then purchased in 1982 with 25,000 miles on it by an older gent. I have service records back to that time, until 2000, when I believe he got ill, and basically stopped driving(53,000 miles). In 2010, a friend of the family bought it from his estate, with intentions of making a street machine out of it, but never got around to doing anything, & I bought it in June 2012 with 55,000 miles on it. Nice to find one of these with build sheets & service records, plus never having been buggered around with. - Dale
